Vintage Snow White Doll Shirley Temple Mold 13” 1937

Description

Vintage Snow White Doll Shirley Temple Mold 1937.  She is one of many from my 30+ years of collecting Shirley Temple memorabilia.
This Shirley is in need of TLC. Her composition is in fair to poor condition.  She has crazing throughout and also some deeper cracks on her face and legs. She has all her fingers and toes.
Her mohair hair is in good condition, but needs a combing.  She has sleep eyes that are also flirty (moves side to side).  They are clouded and damaged, her eyelashes are full.  She could use a restringing but she stands perfectly on the included stand.
Snow White is dressed in her rayon dress with red velvet cape and bodice.  The dress is tagged “An Ideal Doll”. The velvet is slightly faded.   The rayon skirt is aged and it could use a cleaning, but the details of the 7 dwarfs are perfect.  There are no rips or tears.  The dress has the typical 2-button closure in the back.  The cape has a dainty, detailed safety pin closure.  I don’t know if her onesie is original.  She wears oil cloth shoes that are nice but one of the cloth sides of the snap is torn, the whole snap is still there.
Ideal used the Shirley Temple mold to create this doll and she is appropriately marked Shirley Temple 13 on the back of her torso.
She has been kept in a display case in my smoke-free home for many, many years. I am downsizing so it is time for her to go to a new home to be loved as I have loved her.
