Mary Poppins "Jolly Holiday" Dress Costume with Stockings, Hat, and Sash

Description

This lot includes a dress, a hat, and a pair of stockings that match the outfit very well.
The dress is
bridal quality
-- it has underlayer of mid-weight bridal satin, and the outer layer is done from embroidered organza. The skirt of the dress (both layers) and the ascot are all edged in white lace. The skirt is a full circle.
The sash is made of satin, and is accented with handmade piping. It laces in the back like a corset, with a red ribbon. It does not contain any boning.
The hat is decorated with severa yards of white tulle and several red tea roses. The tulle slips under the chin, just like the original in the Mary Poppins film.
The dress's measurements are as follows:
Bust: 33.5"
Waist: 24"
Around neck: 11.5"
Shoulder to waist: 15"
Shoulder to midcalf: 43.5"
Made for a wearer of 5'5" in height.
I had
this dress tailor-made for me a few years ago for an event (it was done by MOM2RTK on Etsy). Since then, the dress has seen very little use. I'm choosing to sell it because I have a wedding (and a somewhat upgraded dress...) to save for now.
